Vũng Tàu in summer is immersed in a sea of red and gentle waves
Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu: Every summer, Vũng Tàu City dons a vibrant coat, captivating people with the red hues of flamboyant flowers.
Starting from early May, the flamboyant flowers burst into bloom along the road to the Vung Tau Lighthouse, located at the top of Nho Mountain in Ward 2, Vung Tau City. This picturesque mountain road is one of the most poetic in the coastal city. From the top, visitors can see the statue of Christ the King on one side and the sea on the other.
The route to the lighthouse is adorned with blooming flowers, making it a popular spot for tourists to take photos. The most frequented area is the road just before Tinh Xa Ngoc Huong Temple. Outside the temple, with its yellow walls and Vung Tau landscape paintings, the vibrant flowers attract many visitors to stop and take photos.
Near the lighthouse's base is another ideal spot for photos, where about 20-30 flamboyant trees are in full bloom. The red flowers contrast with the blue sea and green forest. As this area serves as a car parking zone, visitors should be mindful of their surroundings.
The area surrounding the base of the lighthouse is filled with blooming flamboyant and plumeria trees. Among them, the most beautiful flamboyant tree is located at the left corner of the lighthouse, offering a scenic view with the blue sea in the background and an open atmosphere. Many tourists line up to take photos at this spot.
Inside the lighthouse, there are stairs that take visitors to the top, where they can enjoy views of Vung Tau and feel the sea breeze. The lighthouse is open to the public for free every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The best times to visit are in the morning, late afternoon, or evening to avoid the heat of the midday sun.
Along the way up and down, several cafes are set up next to flamboyant trees, offering visitors places to rest and take photos. Additionally, in other parts of Vung Tau, such as the Bai Dau Temple area or along Tran Phu street, visitors can also see flamboyant trees in full bloom.
In May, Vung Tau boasts clear skies and a blue sea. Besides the flamboyant flowers, the city also has streets lined with blooming paper flowers and plumeria flowers.
